Welcome to study and borrow books and journals! You also have access to electronic resources, such as fulltext articles, eBooks, dictionaries and encyclopedias.
Library Card
The MASTO library card is available for free at all Information Centres. Please fill in the application form and present your official identity card.

Library card PIN code is initially 12345; to change it, log in to MASTO Online Catalogue - click Renewals/Requests.
The self check-out system and web renewals, reservations, and PC Booking all require PIN-code.

NELLI Portal
NELLI is a service package containing digital resources. Results from several databases can be retrieved simultaneously.
NELLI is a Finnish national portal available customized on the Lahti Region Educational Consortium network.

Information Skills Tests
Information Skills is one subject in the Learning Process Course, which includes a skills test. The tests take place at Kampus Library, Paasikivenkatu 7 C (Kampus area), Lahti.
Information Skills Clinic
On Wednesday afternoons from 12am to 5pm, Kampus Library offers help in information seeking at an Information Skills Clinic. This service is aimed at the Lahti University of Applied Sciences students preparing theses.
At the Clinic, Information Specialist helps you personally in finding and using databases relevant to the thesis subject. Before attending the Clinic, you should have the topic of your thesis fixed, and have a few essential terms/key words figured out.

Book a PC on the Internet
You may book a PC to be used at Kampus Library Independent Study Area (room 115). You will need your Masto library card and your personal PIN-code to make a booking and log in the computer.
